The World Series of 7-2offsuit
The World Series of 7-2offsuit is the Friday Night Poker Club's End of Year 'Main Event', except we hold it in the Summer of course, because in the Winter it gets all coldy and wet. Brrrrr!
The icing on the cake, the cherry on the pie and the apple in the eye of all 7-2 regulars, this is Deep Stack Poker at it's most competitive, having a nicely engraved silver bracelet at stake as well as the kudos of winning through against some of the best players in the group. I play too, just to provide something of an overlay. All this and you get to take home lots of money, which you can - er - buy stuff with.
WHO CAN PLAY?

TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE
We'll be starting with a massive 20K stack this year, antes at a similar stage as last and 40-minute levels right the way through. There will be a 25K/50K cap, if we actually get that far (which I doubt). With up to 1,440K in play I'm expecting approximately 14-16 hours of play in total (8 hours per day max). We'll break every 80 mins for 15 mins for fag and toilet breaks, and an hour for dinner. Blinds will start at 25/50 off the Button, structure shown below.

OTHER PRIZES
What, the money's not enough? Oh, OK then. As it's the Wso72os there'll be the usual bewildering array of other prizes up for grabs. Well, five actually.
Tournament Champion - Engraved, WS072os Champion's Bracelet & Trophy. Kudos. Hero Worship. PLUS a seat to the APAT WCOAP World Amateur Poker Championship at the Vic on August 30th (kindly donated by Des Duffy at APAT)
Second Place - a seat to the APAT WCOAP Omaha Championship Event at the Vic on August 27th (thanks again, Des!)
First Bustout - TBA. Probably an instructional poker book of some description. And ridicule.
EACH 'Aces Cracked' - Almost Potts-patented 'Meh' Tee shirt, in black. One size fits most.
EACH '7-2offing' - The Keg. 5 litres of strange (but rather good) German beer.
Bubble prize - TBA. Something nice. Probably. And commiserations.
CATERING
There will be a full kitchen and bar from 11:30 til late on Saturday. Sunday we will more than likely be 'ordering in'.
