Introduction

I'm Matt Perry. I have a tendancy to say stuff like 'yes, I've heard all the "Friends" jokes before' after introducing myself despite the fact that no one ever makes those jokes. Ever. I play cheap MTTs and sometimes actually make final tables.

When I'm not playing poker I'm....

... reading poker books; watching poker shows; talking about poker; on poker forums or very occasionally eating, sleeping, drinking etc. I'll sometimes do some coursework for my Journalism degree. Rarely, someone might actually pay me to write stuff.

How did you discover the London Poker Meetup?

Google is mighty efficient at finding poker games in London.

Do you play online poker? On what sites?

I play freerolls on Full Tilt. I'll make a final table, win $8 or $9, run it up to $50 then crash it back down to $0. One day I might actually stick a proper roll online.

Have you played live poker before? Where?

Never before this, but now I'm one of the regulars at The Fox. I believe the term for someone like me is 'dead money.'

How long have you been playing poker? What first got you into it?

A couple of years. Some lads at Sixth Form started playing it and I turned into a degenerate. You've never played dirty poker until you play the Northwood Sixth Form game. Filth at it's finest.
