Join standup philosopher, Tim Freke, who will be sharing profound philosophical insights designed to show you that being spiritual:
• has absolutely nothing to do with overcoming the ego or mind
• does not involve denying the body its pleasures or desires
• does not require you to retreat from your family or friends
Tim will share amazing stories about his own unique journey of awakening, along with a practical wake-up technique, to guide you directly into an ultra-conscious state he calls being ‘deep awake’.
When we are deep awake, we no longer just experience ourselves as individuals completely separate from each other, for we become conscious of our deeper nature, which is one with all. This leads to a blissful experience of ‘big love’ and a passionate desire to fully engage with the adventure of life.
Being spiritual is not just about stepping back, but jumping fully in!
TIM FREKE is an internationally respected authority on spirituality, whose books and seminars have inspired hundreds of thousands of people around the world. He’s clear, inspiring, irreverent, down-to-earth and isn’t remotely interested in setting himself up as some sort of ‘guru’. Having looked forward to what could have been a really enlightening and inspiring talk, I was very disappointed with this

WOW! i was reading through novembers issue of soul and spirit and read an article on Tim Freke (i had never heard of him before this) i continued to read the magazine to the end and then went into my emails to check any new messages. One of them brought me to the meetup page and imagine my suprise and internal giggling to find that Tim Freke is actually giving a talk for the london spirituality meet up group! so im following my guidance and coming along :)
