Jamie Kilstein is a hugely popular comedian as well as a fiercely active vegan spokesperson.
He is bringing his latest stand up show to London for a six night run at the Soho Theatre. Wouldn't it be amazing if we could pack out the theatre on the last night of the run with vegans?!
Watch this clip of Jamie and part of his routine where he talks about being vegan. Warning: his act is very adult and not safe for work!
Jamie's been on Conan O'Brien, Showtime's Green Room with Paul Provenza, MSNBC's Up with Chris and Melissa Harris-Perry. He's runs a progressive political comedy podcast, Citizen Radio, out of his Brooklyn apartment with his partner, Nation journalist Allison Kilkenny.
If you RSVP on here, be sure to also buy a ticket from here. This event will sell out so you probably won't be able to just show up on the night without pre-buying. Also, the seating is unreserved.
If this night sells out, maybe we can make a second meetup for one of the other nights.

Awesome, so nice to enjoy comedy that didn't have to offend minority group to get a laugh. I'm a Kilstein and Citizen Radio fan so this is a totally biased review.

Hi All, really looking forward to tonight. See you in the pub at 8. Is anyone going to check out the buffet (Jai)?
February 23
He was pretty funny... I thought it was going to be a bit more high-brow but he had made some astute, witty observations.
February 24
I might not make this now-not sure yet but if anyone is looking for a ticket, please shout!
February 23
Get your ticket soon if you haven't. Saturday night will no doubt sell out. Jamie has been featured in today's Metro paper so that is going to raise the profile of the remaining gigs.

Here is a review of Jamie's first night in London from yesterday. Sounds like we are in for a good show! http://www.standard.co.uk/going...![]()

There is a lovely Sam Smiths pub just a 5 minute walk from the theatre. I will be in there from 8pm for anyone who wants to join me. They have vegan cider and beer on tap and bottle, as well as delicious vegan fruit beers. The pub is called The White Horse and is at 45 Rupert Street. Here is the direct link to its location plus the walking directions to the Soho Theatre:
For anyone hungry, there is Maoz and a vegan buffet just around the corner from the pub on Old Compton Street. And Maoz will definitely be open later for anyone wanting a post-show meal!

Jamie Kilstein is appearing on the BBC Radio 4 programme 'Loose Ends' on Saturday 16/02/2013 at 18.15 - http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes...![]()
'Loose Ends' is a 'prime time' radio broadcast on the BBC so if you haven't bought your ticket before it airs then it's likely that you won't be able to afterwards cos they'll sell out fast. Unless Jamie Kilstein's performance on 'Loose Ends' puts off the listeners!

Just got my ticket for this! Should be a good show. Any preferences for where we can have a pre-show drink?

We can confirm now that we have bought our tickets and looking forward to this! Lesley and Paul

If there is anyone who wants to see Jamie in concert but they can't make this date, they should suggest another meetup for one of the other 5 London dates. I picked the Saturday as it suited me but maybe a few groups could go over the week. xx
