This event is always amazing with 100+ people in attendance. Let's do it again this month!
Where is Vegan Drinks? London Vegan Drinks takes place upstairs at The Big Chill House located less than a three minute walk from King's Cross Station. Originating in New York City, Vegan Drinks has now become a global event.
What is Vegan Drinks? London Vegan Drinks is a monthly bar night for vegans and vegan-friendly people. The bar is stocked with vegan beer, vegan wine, vegan cocktails, vegan cider and more! All you need to do is show up on the night, buy some drinks and hang out. Simple.
How much does it cost? Entry to London Vegan Drinks is free. You just pay for the drinks you want to consume and the food you want to eat. Shambhu's, a dedicated vegan catering company, will be selling delicious plant-based bar snacks such as pizza slices, bean burritos, salads and more!
Follow Shambhu's on Twitter and Facebook for more information.
What is the point? London Vegan Drinks is an opportunity for vegans, friends and the curious to meet, drink, relax and socialise. It is a perfect place to make new friends, connect for business or just get out of the house for a night.

i am definitely up for another vegan drinks, even one a week would be good, and the numbers would probably work out better too, i.e. more chance to speak to everybody, maybe. i have spoken to numerous people about this, who all seemed to be up for it too. but we didn't think it was fair to lay it all at Sean's door, he does enough already. so lets get it together guys and gals. x

There is going to be a documentary producer at LVD this week. He is making a documentary for Channel 4 about being single in London and going on first dates. He wants to come along and chat with people who are potentially interested in being in the documentary. There will not be any cameras or anything like that. The film maker is coming along as a regular attendee but is going to take the opportunity to chat and hand out his business card if anyone is interested.

Do we really have to wait a month until we can do it all again?
Loved the house party vibe of the venue. But can't wait until we can expand onto the terrace too.
However, I'm really surprised to hear people complain about the cost of the food! I ate my fill for much less than I'd have spent at Tibits. And personally, I can't think of another 100% vegan caterer who'd be prepared to bring in all their own equipment and then sell hot food for as little as 80p!

Was awesome loved the venue the location people awesome I want vegan drinks 2 times a month

A question for everyone. Do you think we still need the name labels for this event?

Great meetup on Thursday. It brought a lot of new faces to the event which was good and was glad to see the regulars. My only disappointment was the value and choice of food. 1/4 Pizza slice @ £2.00 was too much. I don't think they should get a monopoly. Sean, can people suggest alternative companies?

Location is great for me as I live locally. I had a snack before I came out then had a bean burrito with vegan coleslaw it was lovely and I thought good value - a very well organised event I thought, thanks Sean

Awesome, another amazing job Sean! I think this will just get better. I think the food is tricky in a venue like that so a big well done to Shambus for amazing food. I took someone who is not vegan and he was extremely impressed! Bring on the disco sounds!

I thought it was amazing. Great venue. Going to take all the the tables out next time so it is just seating around the outside and will sort out a cloakroom. So much fun!

Thanks for organising. If I may give my feedback, I still prefer Tibits. Venue far too noisy for me.

This is my first meetup, looking forward to it! :) Is it okay that'll I'll be there around 7.30 because of uni?
March 21
I'd like to make contact with an Israeli lady I met last night called Daphne (maybe spelt wrongly). If you're reading this, or know her, please get in contact. I can't find her on the list of people who attended. I didnt stay very long last night because truth be told, I found it a bit too overwhelming and crowded. Personally, I preferred Tibits.
1 · March 22
Excellent, the only reason I give it 4 and not 5 stars was a little TOO crowded if that can be possible.

Lovely as ever :) And when the sun (eventually) shines (!!) hanging out on that terrace will be lovely! When I first arrived, I got this sense of a private party, which is great, certainly maintaining & adding to the vibe so well established at Tibits :) & we have our own wee bar!! No delicately going up & down the stairs, praying we don't spill our pints, etc!! Now....some of just have to get proper drunk & have a dance on the wee dancefloor!! :) Haha!! Anyway.... all the best... & see you in Brixton Sean!! Sober to begin with then get as pickled as you like in the pub! :) All the best, Jess :) x

Lovely wee night. Ducked out early as I lost my friend but would love to come to the next one with fully charged phones!
March 22
My first vegan drinks, met some lovely new people and some not so new faces, great to see you all xx
2 · March 22
Amazing night, great venue and nice to see so many people there. I got to speak with far more people thanks to the new venue.
March 21
More than 120 RSVPs for this event across all the collection points! Hopefully the biggest LVD ever! xx

We have passed 100 RSVPs for this month! It will be a great way to usher in our new pub atmosphere and Shambhu's are making a whole range of lovely bar snack items to keep us well fed. Don't forget to go into Vx and quote 'London Vegan Drinks' to get 10% off. They are staying open until 7:30pm just for us.
Our event is taking place upstairs. When you enter the pub off the street, you will see a door/stairway to the left. Take that up one flight.
There will be vegan beer (Heineken) on tap as well as several bottled beers. They have both Westons and Aspall bottled ciders. For wine drinkers they have a merlot and a rosé that are both vegan. The drinks that are vegan will be listed on a separate menu just for us.
This is going to be a fun night!

Can you help distribute flyers for the Vegan Pledge?
The Vegan Pledge is an event where members of the public go vegan for a month. And, in the past, many of the participants have stayed vegan once the Pledge has finished.
To help make this year's event a success, can you display or distribute flyers at your college, university or workplace? Or at local libraries, community centres, wholefood shops, or restaurants? Or anywhere else?
If you would like to help, but don't know where, we can supply you with a list of places which have displayed flyers in the past.
Either way, please see me or Cathy at Vegan Drinks. We'll be bringing lots...

I've updated the venue, so it should now show up correctly on the Google Map. I've also flagged four duplicates! http://www.londonveganmeetup.co...![]()

I don't think I mentioned it but this venue is open until 1am on the evening of London Vegan Drinks. 1am! I challenge Jess to be the last one to leave LOL.
5 · March 14
I have worked in partnership with the Big Chill House to determine their vegan drinks. They are making a special London Vegan Drinks menu just for the vegan drinks. They have a solid selection of drinks including some lovely bottled ciders!
3 · March 12
Let's make a big push and get as many people to our new venue as we possibly can. We want to show them how popular veganism is!
