In case you haven't been to one of the London Vegans monthly meetings before, the doors open at 6.30pm but the meeting itself (announcements and speaker) won't start til 7.30pm. I'll be the one coming round to say hello and ask for your donation ("admission fee") towards the cost of the hire of the room.

Can't make it this month. But I'm a big supporter of Water Aid. They're one of the few charities where you can make a donation to the developing world in the knowledge that it'll be spent in a vegan-friendly way (rather than on goats, for example.)

Are they just speaking about WaterAid, or is there a vegan connection?

Hi Gareth. The speaker will be speaking about the work of Water Aid as far as I'm aware. However there will be an opportunity to ask questions. Water Aid helps provide clean water to those in the third world.

Thanks Julie - I know about Water Aid; I just wondered if there was a vegan spin.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
