London Vegan Potluck

London Vegan Potluck is back for another monthly night. The potluck takes place on the first Wednesday of every month and has been running for approximately two years!

The potluck is in our snappy location in Central London just off High Holborn.

How does it work? What is a potluck? A potluck is an event where like-minded people get together to share homemade food, swap recipes, make friends and talk about topics that interest them.

What is a vegan potluck? It is the same as a potluck but with vegan food! There is no dairy, meat, honey or eggs. The food can be sweet or savoury and our event requires potluckers to provide an ingredients list with their dish as well as utensils to serve it with if required.

What else do you need to know?

- You must bring your own serving dish and utensils (this includes a knife if your dish requires cutting or a spoon to serve pasta salad etc)

- There is a charge of £1 to participate in the potluck, paid on the night

- The potluck runs promptly from 6pm until 8pm. Don't be late!

- One plate and one fork for each attendee to eat with is supplied. If you want more than this, you are welcome to bring your own extra

Come along for a fabulous night of meeting without meat. If you have friends you would like to invite who are not on Meetup, RSVP are also accepted via the Facebook event and the Fat Gay Vegan website

**BREAKING NEWS**

Ms. Cupcake herself is doing a book signing at London Vegan Potluck!

Mellissa Morgan will be selling and signing copies of her new book. The book is crammed full of amazing vegan recipes and glorious, glossy photos.

You can buy the book at the event for £16.99 or if you already have a copy, bring it along and Mellissa will sign it.

If you plan on buying a copy on the night, please mention it in the comments so Mellissa knows how many to bring with her!

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to those who helped clean up towards the end of the night. Putting the chairs away, wiping the tables down and collecting plates takes a lot of time so your help is much appreciated xx

Sorry can't be there now. Misled my house keys this morning and have to meet the locksmith I called who checked my house found them in the garden. Just glad to get them back!

Coming late? We'll undoubtedly be going to the Cittie of Yorke afterwards. Lots of Vegan Society registered beers...

How did that happen? I forgot to hit the RSVP button again! But just because I hadn't clicked, doesn't mean I wouldn't be there! You'll know when I can't make a Potluck or Drinks! :) Now, I've just got to figure out what I'm making...it's savoury for sure.. just toying with a couple of ideas... all will be revealed on the night! See you soon! Jess :) x P.S. Oh I know what I did...I RSVP'd on FB!! All theses social networks crossing over!! Anyway.... :) x

Sure thing. Although now we will probably end up with no sweets! LOL. Everyone should just bring whatever is their first choice.
