Scott Capurro at Top Secret Comedy Club, Covent Garden, this Saturday

  • This location is shown only to members

i've just found out that the wonderful and fabulous Scott Capurro is headlining so have changed the meet time to 7pm (when the doors open) so we can get good seats! Show starts at 8.15 pm.

The Top Secret Comedy club is in the basement of the Africa Centre in Covent Garden. Meet outside at 7pm prompt so we can pair up and use the 241 vouchers below:

Tickets are £10 per person or 2 for 1 from http://www.vouchercloud.com/top-secret-comedy-club-vouchers  You'll need to sign up and then print the voucher. Remember to unsubsribe afterwards if you don't want to keep getting email offers!

Please see link for map, drinks menu, etc  I've been there loads of times and always had a good time www.topsecretcomedy.co.uk

The headliner Scott Capurro is just my cup of tea - I find him absolutely hilarious! He is often 'deliberately provocative' so sensitive creatures and faint hearts be warned! He also happens to be a vegetarian! www.scottcapurro.com

If you want to meet during the afternoon we'll be in the large pub around the corner from 222 during the afternoon - playing games if Julie and I have anything to do with it! (please see previous lunch meetup at 222) so please feel free to join us then. I think it's called the Prince of Wales - call me to confirm.

thanks,

Helen

ooh I was at this club last night. They had 5 comedians on. Had such great fun - hadn't laughed so much in ages! For cider drinkers: they have bottled Westons cider (suitable for vegans) on the drinks menu. The Westons cider is stored in a fridge at the back of bar rather than in the main fridge so you may have to point the barman in the right direction.

They also have Kingstone Press cider on draught, which I wasn't aware was vegan friendly until I checked their website today. Avoid the Magners, as only their pear cider is vegan friendly.

    Enjoy! :)

was thinking something smaller/more fringe/less expensive (having said that haven't looked up price of tickets yet) - will have a look tonight. think it's probably best if I plan this meetup after all so will make a plan and post something this evening!

      June 21, 2013

    • Helen

I now have a plan - see above (maybe we can do Jesrsey boys another time)
