Singles' Night - with Hayley Quinn (MALE places)

  • August 22, 2013 · 6:00 PM

Hayley Quinn is one of the country's leading dating coaches - having worked for Channel 4, The Independent, FHM, Cosmopolitan, and many more.

She also happens to be vegan! And she has agreed to come and give London Vegan Meetup members advice on "Healthy Dating" for free! Expected to include...

* Positive mindsets to make sure you make the most of your relationships (no more arguments, stress and bad vibes!)

* Presenting yourself in a way that is naturally attractive (getting more dates, without having to change who you are).

* How to handle disagreements in a way that you make yourself heard without being confrontational (always getting the best out of people).

* How you can begin to master love, health & wealth with the right attitude for happiness... and become more attractive in the process.

There'll also be plenty of time to enjoy drinks, dinner and socialising before and after her talk - and during a half-time break.

No formal speed-dating. No cheesey ice-breakers. Just the ideal opportunity to put Hayley's advice into practice.

Tibits will also be providing an almost vegan menu, as they currently do every 9 days. Most hot dishes (probably everything apart from the jalapeño peppers), most cold dishes (probably everything apart from the cheese), and some desserts should be vegan. As this is a London Vegan Meetup event, please choose from the vegan items only (even if you're not vegan!)

To try to achieve a good mix of people, we have two separate listings - one for male members, and one for female members. (LGBT members are of course welcome at this event.)

RSVPs are essential for this event.

OK, you're in! Come on down.

I've stopped Meetup moving people up from the waiting list, as they may not see their messages in time. So if you're not yet a "yes", but want to come, send me a message asap (ideally with your mobile number).

Hi, noted the event as listed starting at 6pm. When does the presentation actually start and finish? Would like to plan my time to make sure if work load does become intense I'll either change RSVP or work schedule accordingly.

This information might be helpful for others as well when planning ahead, to know whether there is any slack...

I'm looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow. But if you're not going to be able to make it after all, please update your RSVP as soon as possible so someone else can go in your place.

I'm on the wait list. What are the chances of me being upgraded to a "yes"?

Your guess is as good as mine. But I'd say "reasonably good" since you're only third on the list.

Despite having said that this event is trans* friendly, I recognise that I haven't made provision for any trans* members who prefer not to identify as either male or female. If this is an issue for anyone, please let me know.
