Carshalton Environmental Fair, Bank Holiday Monday

We'll meet at Shambhu's stall at 1.00pm and grab some lunch from one of the many food stalls then find a good spot to sit and eat, please bring a picnic blanket if you have one.

Please note that not all the food at the fair is vegan but there's plenty that is, including everything at the lovely Shambhu's. Please eat only vegan food (as for all Vegan meetup events).

After lunch we'll have a wander round some more stalls, pop to the beer tent and listen to some of the live music.

The fair itself runs from 10.30am to 8.00pm so if you like you can get there earlier to look round the stalls before we meet.

Entrance is £4 per adult and free for children under 12. There's a free bus around the area and to and from a couple of local train stations. For further details on the fair and the free bus service see:

Give me a call after 1pm if you can't find us: 07790 860392.

Fingers crossed for good weather!

I had a great time there last year and am really looking forward to this.

Hope to see you there,

I'll be there and I think I'm gonna be sick of eating too much goodness in a very short period of time :P

Yeah as it was my first time I did not realised the number was on this page and I would have to call it, I just made sure I noted the tent's name and the time I would have to be there... I stayed on the faire until 19:30pm but having "my own party" hehe :)

Ms. Cupcake will have a stall there as well - please do pop by and say 'Hi'! Also - every year there is an awesome fresh bahji/veg fritter stall that I thoroughly recommend! - Cant remember the name - but they always have a big line up!

In case this affects anyone's travel plans...

"I am writing to let you know that the RMT union has called a strike on London Overground on Sunday 25 and Monday 26 August. If the strike goes ahead, disruption is expected on some London Overground services.

There will be no trains between Willesden Junction and Richmond/Clapham Junction as well as no service between Gospel Oak and Barking; rail replacement buses will be in operation. A four train per hour service will operate between Willesden Junction and Stratford.

We will run as many trains as possible; alternative Tube, bus and rail services will be available to ensure people can get around the capital this weekend. Please check before you travel by visiting"
