Propaganda: Power and Persuasion

Let's see the Propaganda exhibition at the British Library! It's a very very well received review of state propaganda over the last two centuries. I think the company of folk who campaign for veganism will make the exhibition even more interesting.

http://www.bl.uk/whatson/exhibitions/propaganda/index.html

Because tickets for this exhibition are timed, we do need to meet at 2pm prompt inside the entrance of the British Library. We'll go to the cafe afterwards (where we'll eat & drink vegan, possibly things we bought earlier).

It's also really close to Vx: alternatively, meet me there at 1:30, where I shall be buying something for myself to eat in the cafe.

Because it's very much in demand, please get your tickets in advance. (I'm not doing a bulk booking as that puts me at financial risk for no-shows.)

Ok.. I just thought the meeting time would have been a bit before the exhibition start.. But it's ok, we'll go early :)

That's why I said 2pm *prompt* :). You can take the woman out of Italy, but ... ;)

I spoke to a friend who visited the exhibition yesterday and he told me that 2 o'clock is the busiest time. Also that they let people in and out of the exhibition room in groups because the room is quite small. Otherwise it was very interesting.

Can I buy ticket at the library on Saturday ? They require to register with them... I am so fed with another sign up :-)

Yeh I know I am just fed up with another password or spaming my mailbox, because they will spam you ;-). I 'll just pop in the Library on Tuesday when they have open till 8 and buy my ticket.

Thanks Helena. That's very kind of you. Don't worry if I won't get it on Tuesday I'll ask for a favour.

Pity this event clashes with Festival of Life.
Also, worth watching on youtube is the old BBC series 'Century of the Self'.

Should we get our tickets ourselves? Or are you doing a block buy for us?!?!

Everyone getting our own tickets. I'm not going to do a block buy (as that would leave me out of pocket for anyone who did not turn up).
