RSVPs (and Archangel guest list) now closed.
BUT... you can still come to The Goat. (No RSVP required.)
Please do not go to the Prince of Wales.
If you're planning to come to the Archangel, then you must have a confirmed RSVP for this event. (Otherwise they'll charge you a tenner on the door.) So if you're not planning to come to the Archangel, then please do not RSVP to this event - so that someone else can come. (You'll still be able to attend any other elements.)
OK... here's the plan. A multi-venue extravaganza. The "Kensington Vegan Stumble-about", if you will. No stupid admission fees. (Nor even sensible ones!) Just pay for your food and drink. (And pay for overdoing it come the morning...)
Four different optional elements, just a minute's walk from each other. Come to as many or as few as you like. Just turn up when you turn up. And go home when you can't stand up.
Dinner at SAF (7pm - 10pm)
As you may know, FatGayVegan has organised a New Year's Eve Dinner for 70 people at SAF. There are still a few places available, so check out the menu to see if that's how you'd like to start your evening. (If so, you'll need to book online in advance. You won't just be able to turn up. And SAF will not be open to the general public.)
Food at Whole Foods Market food court (until 8pm)
If you're not going to SAF, but still want a bite to eat, then the Whole Foods Market's food court will be open until 8. But they'll probably stop serving around 7:30, so get there early if you want to eat! (This bit's not being "organised" as such; people can just come and go as they please.)
Drinks at The Archangel (8pm - 5am)
The Archangel is actually the one place in London that still does the famous Red Veg burger. (See FatGayVegan's blog here!) While, sadly, these won't be available on the night, the lovely manager has very kindly offered up to 100 of us free admission (normally £10). However, this only for those with a confirmed RSVP. They'll have a DJ playing a wide range of music, but they're likely to get busy (so you may need to queue - especially if you arrive later).
The manager of the Archangel is doing us a massive favour here - giving over around half of his space at no cost (when he could be charging the general public around £1,000). And Sean and Josh have put a lot of time and effort into making this happen. For free. All because of their love for London's vegans. So please show your appreciation by at least buying a few drinks from the bar. Let's support those businesses that support us! Thanks. (Feel free to buy one for Sean too, 'cos he's been busting his balls to make this work!)
Drinks at The Goat Tavern (8pm - 1am)
If you didn't manage to get a place for The Archangel, if you don't want to pay a tenner to get in, if you'd prefer somewhere a little quieter, if you're looking for vegan wine, or if you'd just like a change of scenery, we now have an overflow space in The Goat! You don't need to have RSVPed to come to The Goat; all are welcome. (So if you're ONLY going to The Goat, please change your RSVP to "No", if you already have a confirmed RSVP.)
