Poetry Club at Tibits

  • Feb 27, 2014 · 6:30 PM

Hello all,

Please join us for an evening of poetry, good food and drink and chat.

Everyone attending will have an opportunity to read one or two of their favourite poems (this isn't compulsory - you can just listen if you prefer).

Poems can be classic, modern, postmodern, children's poetry, limericks - anything really!

We'll vote for our favourite poem of the night and also learn something technical about poetry and choose a suggested theme for the following meeting.

Poetry Club is also an opportunity for vegan writers to perform their own poetry (not included in the  poem of the night vote).

Suggested theme for this Poetry Club is "Happiness" (poems read do not necessarily need to conform to the theme).

As with all London Vegan Meetup events please choose only vegan food and drinks.

Look forward to seeing you.

Helen xx.

Helen: After Angie and I had left I realised we hadn't chosen a theme for the next session. Might I suggest the "Animal Kingdom" - a bit obvious perhaps, but I think we would have a really interesting session. And you already have the stickers !

Sorry All. I'll have to cancel. I'm not feeling well. Think I might have caught a bug at the Science Museum last night. Hopefully that means I'll turning into a mutant Superhero. Enjoy.
