It was awesome to see so many people from London Vegan Meetup at the weekend. And to see so many people wearing our stickers. I'm only sorry that I didn't manage to speak to everyone...

I'm also sorry to hear that some people couldn't find us! Although "The London Vegan Meetup Lounge" was clearly marked on the floor plans (on the walls and in the programme) it was a little out of the way, and we had a limited budget with which to brand it. As well as our street sign, we had five A1 posters marking the area. But I think that they blended in with the other posters around the festival, so it wasn't obvious enough that they meant "it's here!"

If you did find us, I'd be interested in your feedback. (Especially if you saw our stall last year too.) We're still trying to work out how best to engage with such events - but on a very limited budget. While other stalls will have cost hundreds of pounds, our space effectively cost about a tenner! (OK, we spent more than that. But mostly on things that can be re-used, rather than stall hire for one event only.)

Either way, I hope to see you all at another event soon. Where I'll hopefully get a chance to chat to those I missed at VegFest...

I highly recommend watching Cowspiracy (Saturday 16:30) if you haven't watched it, yet. It may not be AR or TL in the strictest sense, but it's certainly a useful tool for outreach. It's going to be released soon on DVD (the leaked YouTube version was removed some days ago).

Saturday at 5pm I will give a talk with slideshow on eating out vegan in London and Paris, covering 17 vegan cafes and restaurants in Paris, even more in London, and vegetarian accommodation in both cities. If you can't make the talk, you can visit the Vegetarian Guides stall (opposite the Vegan Society stall).
