  Hi Mia, it's possible to upload pictures here to however Richard told me that data storage also contributes to the climat change therefore instead of uploading 60 pictures to 13 different meet ups groups I decided to upload it to a website and post only a link to all meet up groups :) good for everyone because pictures are available and good for environemnt because they do not have to be stored multiple time :)

  Thanks Beata, you're quite right (computing use accounts for more CO2e than airline travel, and is set to double within the decade, due in no small part to uploads and email attachments). As I've posted the link across all the groups, everyone has access to them. A future alternative would be to upload them to the group with the most RSVPs, and post a link to them on other groups (assuming privacy settings don't mean you have to be a member to view them).

  Thanks, but all credit goes to Napak, as she was the one that recommended the recipe and made sure I didn't screw up... it wasn't something I'd made before! My only mistake was that I doubled up the ingredients, to make a bigger cake, and forgot that it would take longer to bake, hence my late arrival LOL

Hi everyone, in case you didn't see on the discussion board, I just wanted to say thank you to all who made it, it was a lovely day. Everyone I managed to speak to was so warm and friendly!
I want to say a special thank you to Richard, Katherine, Andrea, Gareth, Ciaran, Jess, Uparima and all the others I didn't speak to for bringing yummy food. Uparima and Elysa for the Best Before Stand. Beata for kindly taking lots of pictures! John, Maya, Naomi and Gemma for the fantastic treatments and Neel for bringing the healing power of the dolphins and Richard and Linda for doing pretty much everything!!!

  Hi Storm, It's the website of Dr John McDougall who promotes a starch based low fat vegan diet. His work is similar to that of Drs Dean Ornish and Caldwell Esselstyn if you've heard of them. Most of the users on the website are in the US but there's a growing number in the UK.

Feel free to turn up any time after 10:30am (but preferably a bit before 4pm!) and hopefully(!) you'll find people already inside.

If you can bring something along for the vegan potluck (i.e. food to share) that would be great.

Please include a list of all ingredients, so people can look out for potential allergens. It's also nice to name the dish :-)

Hope to see you there (I aim to be along about noon).

  Hi All There will be a give and take at the event.I'm not sure everyone knows what a give and take is so for those that don't Give & Takes are a great way to recycle. They offer you the chance to pass on items you no longer want, that are in good condition and working order for others to reuse.
  No money is exchanged and lots of useful items are diverted from landfill.

  As an example if you have any of the following items that you no longer want then please bring them to our give and take:Clothing, DVDs, videos, unwanted gifts, accessories,childrens items books, toys, bric-a-brac and small electrical items which are clean ,easily transportable and in working order such as kettles, phones,toasters, cameras, hair dryers, etc.

  If you have any queries about the give or take aspect of the event please let me know and i will do my best to answer them.I currently run give and take events with camden /westminster/islington councils and the city of london,they are a great way to find homes for things you no longer need/want and maybe pick up something you do.
