Hi Jess. I was thinking of putting the food out around midday or when most people get there. Hopefully that'll work out alright! See you later. Xx

Hello; it all sounds lovely & there should be plenty of tea I gather! :) I was just wondering, (& I should've got round to posting this earlier) but when does the Potluck start or will it just be food, & more, everywhere, all day, type thing? (e.g. don't want to miss the Pudology puds!! :-D ) Cheers, Jess :)

Hi All
Does anyone have a nice camera or a smart phone
and would be happy to take photos ( (i have neither).?
Some of the companies that have donated food would like
a few pictures so they can put them on their twitter/facebook
pages.Thanks Everyone

Hi Mia,
What is your telephone number? Can you please let me know if you still need some food? I could make some sandwiches and maybe a cake? I've seen also that you don't have drinks, should I bring some tea bags? Will there be any place to make some tea?

Crazy, that's 13 veg*n-related Meetup groups so far, just within the Greater London area! And I haven't even put it on the gender/profession/nationality groups, or all the raw food ones, or included fruitarians.
Check out this list of some of the main Meetup groups, to see what I mean http://meetup.com/volentians/Lo...![]()

Hi All
The Vegan Tart won't be able to join us now due to personal
circumstances so sadly we won't be having any of their lovely cakes. If anyone else can bring some yummy vegan cakes or any
other dishes that would be great.
November 22
Hoping to bring some Vegusto samples... fingers crossed... that I don't scoff them on the journey up LOL

For what it's worth, at this late hour, I've also 'suggested' this event on the following extra groups. If anyone can help to get them announced by RSVPing, that would be great...

Feel free to turn up any time after 10:30am (but preferably a bit before 4pm!) and hopefully(!) you'll find people already inside.
If you can bring something along for the vegan potluck (i.e. food to share) that would be great.
Please include a list of all ingredients, so people can look out for potential allergens. It's also nice to name the dish :-)
Hope to see you there (I aim to be along about noon).
November 22
wow, that was quick! I'm actually not on the vegetarian group so thank you for getting it up there! xx
November 21
LOL That was quick, I just returned to that veg Meetup and Linda and Neel have already helped to announce it!
November 21
It's now suggested on the veg group (http://www.meetup.com/vegetaria...
), can some of you please RSVP on there too, to get it announced, as I'd imagine that it's the main target audience. Cheers
November 21
Good to see we've about 50 people attending across the Meetups and Facebook :-) Just found out I'll be one of them!
November 21
Hi, didn't want to add to the main section, just in case I changed it or deleted it! But hopefully this link will take you to the facebook event page. http://www.facebook.com/#!/even...
If it doesn't, the page name is 'free christmas fair.'

I agree Mia Justfortheloveofit is great and as today is the first ever Global Sharing Day http://www.compareandshare.com/...
lets celebrate the Freeconomy Philosophy and websites like justfortheloveofit, Freecycle and Streetbank that are all great sharing communities.
Although not essentially a vegan event this saturday
there is a Streetbank ( http://www.streetbank.com
) inspired
sharing event taking place

I would like to add that this event was inspired by the 'freeconomy' philosphy as shown on the website http://www.justfortheloveofit.o...
It is great free-share site which I would recommend anyone to take a look at.
