Christmas Without Cruelty Fayre
There will be more than 90 stands bringing you an amazing array of animal-friendly merchandise and information about how you can help animals, the environment and the planet. You can really make a difference.
Among the highlights of the day (when you’re tired from your shopping spree!) will be talks by Professor Peter Squires and Ms Cupcake, a press-ups competition, a children’s workshop, face painting and free crèche, as well as other informative talks. All items on sale are ethically produced, and you can be sure that they have not been tested on animals and do not include any animal ingredients.

I do hope that EVERYONE who wants to see it done as a bigger/longer event (especially if you are already a committed vegan), has volunteered some of your time to either Animal Aid or one of the other good causes needing helpers on their stall.
You know these events can only go ahead on the scale they do, or on the scale you want them, if the organisers and charity stallholders can be sure of enough ppl volunteering to help in some way.2 · December 5

I just didn't get to go to all the stalls and missed the seminars, it goes with having a toddler! However, we did get cakes from the cake stall( I forget the name but it wasn't Miss Cupcake) with icing on and also from the friends stall, we liked the friends home made one more with no icing, want some more......when's their next open day?.......... And I think it's always a good sign when its busy there, when I was a fairly new vegan(or on the verge of transforming) it made me feel better that there were so many vegan people and that I was not alone. :)

Thank you for stopping by Shambhu's at the Animal Aid Christmas Fayre. We were really happy to see you, even though at times it was just for a fleeting moment. But we hope to catch up with you socially on some of the events we will be attending in December and Bowl For Oceans in January.

an interesting event but could be better organised and presented. "hello, it's £2!" is not a proper way to greet new guests also the stands were a bit of a mess. perhaps a missed opportunity to appeal also to vegan-to-be and not just to hard-core ones

As meeting up at (i.e. inside) an event is always difficult, we normally meet outside to share lunch. I'm sure Robb will have his London Vegan Meetup banner with him (if he's going).
