Brixton Vegan Ramble (Ethiopian Food, Cupcakes & Pub!)

After the recent change of date of my Winter Vegan Tart, (to Dec' 22nd) I've decided to still go ahead with this trip to Brixton on December 1st, as there will still be yummy Ethiopian Food & Ms Cupcake Cupcakes, awaiting anyone who doesn't mind a bit of drizzly rain, & this early winter chill setting in as we hurtle towards December! & there is a cosy pub in The Dog Star, afterwards!
So, let's meet at;
Brixton Tube Station at 12:30pm :)
& the following buses stop near by
>>45, 59, 109, 118, 133, 159, 250, 333, P4
........
After a wonder down the market, we'll find Saba's Ethiopian food & Juice stall; The Vegan option is injera 'pancakes', with lentils & varied vegetables; its great! :)
.....& instead of perching/standing, ((like last time, :) )), there is a kind of seating area near by......
It's up the stairs, leading to the entrance to the Recreation Centre, just to the left as you get to the top of the stairs; it's like a small park only more walls than flower beds & certainly no grass, but I think it's ideal to have a sit, eat & chat there! And as it is slightly enclosed, might be warmer too!
So, latecomers, get yourselves down Brixton Station Road; if you don't see a group of vegans queuing by Saba, pop up those stairs to the Recreation Centre & look to your left!! :)
Later, we'll wonder along via Ms Cupcake, for all your cupcake requirements, indulgences & sugar highs (!!) , around 2 or nearing 3 (now with a 10% discount; just say you're there with London Vegan Meet Up! Cheers Melissa!) & shortly afterwards, we'll shelter from the cold at The Dog Star, just minutes from Ms Cupcake! So, very latecomers, (by 4ish?) you'll find us at the pub; drinks & a good natter as the sun sets!

You forgot to mention the P4 bus, which if I make it, will bring me from Lewisham to Brixton. :-) I might make it to this one as it's fairly local and it would be good to know about food options in Brixton. Thanks for organising.

Dammmn, I would so much like to go, love Ethiopian food and of course the cupcakes and good company too... but it sort of coincides with the climate change march. Wonder if I could fit it all in... BTW, the weather is looking ccccold but dry
