The response I had to my shout out for donations has just been incredible. Makes my heart sing to know there are some genuinely amazing people on this planet. There are two homeless people tonight wearing warm and clean clothes, with a spark of hope for the future. Thank you and God bless......
If any of you have anything more to give I'm hoping to be at the brixton walkabout on the 2nd march, if not the potluck on the 6th. Clothing, toiletries, food, spare mobiles, sim cards, books, anything and everything...dog food?!
Peace and love to you all. Steph. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

hey steph, that's great you're donating stuff to the homeless. may i ask how you came across these particular people? or is it a joint effort through an organisation you help out at? i was thinking you might wanna receive donations at the potluck instead of the brixton walkabout because we're on the move so much that day your arms will be killing you! at the potluck you can collect stuff in a corner, ya know? x

Sorry, only just read this. Yepp the potluck is a better idea you're right!! Xxx

Hi all. One last shout out before tomorrow. If anyone could give me any clothing they don't want for the homeless I'd love to take it off of you! Male or female. Jeans, tops, fleeces, hoodies, socks, underwear. Toiletries: soap, shampoo/conditioner, toothpaste. Books. Ladies if you have any spare big hairbrushes. Literally anything you've got kicking around, it would really help out. Thanks a lot!! Xxxxx

Which homeless project is this for? Do you go out on Sock Mob at all?
1 · February 21, 2013
Not a charity - helping out a couple that live close to where I live. They're on the streets most nights and I'm trying to keep them warm and fed. No, but I've heard of sock mob, sounds like an awesome idea and I'd love to get involved. It's just a matter of finding the time at the moment.
oh, I just found the answer to my question about who you collect donations for! nevermind! :o) good luck x
Had a great time as well. However, hanging out with all you great and wonderful people as frequently as I do makes everybody else on the planet seem... well... somewhat unwonderful and ungreat. It's so meloncholy...

My first vegan drinks, and it was a great night... bring on the next one!
fun times x
There were so many wonderful people, a lot of first timers, too! I had a wonderful time and I am so happy to be involved with such an inclusive, friendly and wonderful group of people. xx

Another fab night! Great to see everyone! Thank you! : )
another great meetup, i had a thought, to all the people i spoke to about the tastecard, it was a refund from tibbits, only if you bought the card specially to eat at tibbits. sorry about the confusion i may have caused, thought i better let you all know as soon as i could.
Met a few new people:)
This is my first time event, just wondering how I go about getting in etc Do I just walk in or do I have to mention to someone that I am there for the meet up? Thanks :)

Hi Victoria. The event is in the downstairs room in tibits. Walk in, walk straight ahead and down the stairs. No need to sign in or anything complicated. I will be in the crowd saying hi and handing out name stickers if you want one.
Fantastic! Looking forward to it :)
I'm another Victoria coming along for the first time!

OH gosh I am so sorry all :( and Robb, but I won't be able to make it tonight now. Had some bad news from home this morning (Australia) and need some quiet time. Hopefully the next meet up isn't too far away! I will definitely come along. Have a great night :) apologies again.

Hope to see you soon, Victoria.
Oh no... same for this Victoria! I exchanged on my new house this afternoon and I suddenly have so much to do this evening I'm in a tailspin. Sorry to miss this, truly, as it fell in half-term and was perfect timing. I'll keep my eye out for the next drinks during Easter school hols.
Victoria...I am also a teacher! So strange! I am doing supply work in South West London! Hope to see you at the next meet :) Good luck with everything!
I'm in Madrid so enjoy and have some beers in my behalf :)
Sorry, got some sad news and need some private time. Have a great night.
Very sorry to hear this Victoria, look forward to seeing you at the next one.
Stealing Robb's idea about taking payments for a future event I will also be happy to take cash payment from anyone wanting a place at my Anti-Deer Cull fundraiser, if anyone is at the drinks and also going to this. http://www.londonveganmeetup.co...?
Good morning. All being well, I shall attend this evening. I'm a newcomer to Vegan Meet Up, and this will be my first event. I look forward to saying hello. With 110+ indicating that they'll be there, it would appear that I won't be stuck for opportunity!
Hope to see you there. You will find plenty of new friends, that's for sure!
Apols, am full of a cold so will keep my sniffling self away until next time. Have full all!
More than 110 people have RSVPd with a few more coming along that haven't LOL. It is going to be a big night!
Hello, I will really like to come, but may run a bit late as on Thursdays, our team goes to the pub near my office which is far away from Central London. Is it ok if I will reach some time between 7.30 pm and 8.00 pm ?
Hi Ramesh! Yes, of course, you'll be very welcome : )
I'm with Julie on this one! Last orders are usually around 11pm, Ramesh. See you there.
Hello I'm a newbie too to LVMU. Looking forward to meeting you all tomorrow night.
This is a great event to get started with, Paul! Look forward to seeing you there.
I'll pop in at the end after something else.
If anyone want to avoid PayPal fees, I'll be accepting cash payment for Asparagasm (http://meetu.ps/xnffT) at Vegan Drinks.

This will be my first meet up, i look forward to meeting you like-minded people. I've been vegetarian for 13 years and am now going Vegan - need some tips and support! See you soon.
Looking forward to meeting you, Sylvia!
I hope to be there. It's somewhat dependent on a deadline at work, midweek. (Am applying for a Green Flag Award for a local park).
In the meantime, a joke:A student visits a bookshop and asks the sales assistant if the shop stocks anything by Shakespeare. "Of course" says the assistant. "Which one are you after?" Student: "William".
Hello all you beautiful people. I wondered if you could do something amazing and help me out. If you can could you give me any old clothes that you don't want (male and female) and any spare toiletries you might have? I'm desperately trying to help out our friends living on the streets at this time of year. anything you could give would be incredible. I'll definitely be at the drinks. Thank you in advance. Peace and love xxxxx

I will be sorry to miss this event, but it coincides with a performance of my musical The Route To Happiness. But I look forward to seeing many of you at the Meetup Group's visit to the musical - and to Alkarmel Vegetarian Cafe - on Tuesday! And if you'd like a sneak preview of the show, excerpts from the musical can be heard from 35 minutes in at http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/ep...
Looking forward to it!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
