New Year, New Vegan Tart!! (& Brixton walkabout+Dog Star Pub!)

Sorry I've been a bit slow to suggest this one, but I've finally got round to it!

This Saturday, January 5th, kick off 2013 with The Vegan Tart!
((And Brixton's other great Vegan options too!))

It's still chilly, & there may be rain, but....it's only WATER! :) Come on, bring a brolly, wellies.....gloves....hats....etc etc :-D

(Remains of my Velvet cake & a mince pie!)

*Saba's Ethiopian Stall>>great vegan option! (Non-vegan option cooked totally separately)

*Ms Cupcake

(''..Yes, 4 naughty cupcakes = an attempt at Gangnam Style....'' haha!)

Also I've heard Franca Manca do a Vegan pizza option!

((I think there are a few extra, but can't think off the top of my head! Do add comments of any more vegan options if you know of any more!))

Seating options >>
<Market> there is some seating that may be available in the market, there is also a seating area upstairs outside the Recreation Centre, to the left! <<Ms Cupcake>> Some out door seating available; also option of drinks at the next door cafe!

So, come on Vegan Tart & Vegan Brixton fans, & newbies! :)

Let's check out some great vegan food & then.....
....it's off to The Dog Star pub around 2.30 or 3ish (it may be earlier if the weather is a bit much! Haha!!) for drinks & good conversation!! :)

Latecomers, get yourselves down Brixton Station Road; if you don't see a group of vegans queuing by Saba or loitering at The Vegan Tart stand, pop up those stairs to the Recreation Centre & look to your left; or, pop by Ms Cupcake...or just get down to The Dog Star!! :)

So, after the success of past trips, I look forward to another trip!!

Hope everyone had a good new year and recovered from any hangovers!

Brilliant news for us that we are now listed on the i love markets page (www.ilovemarkets.com/lambeth/directory/shop/the-vegan-tart) and also have been blogged about by the Fat Gay Vegan (http://fatgayvegan.com/2012/12/...) and we have an opportunity for facebookers out there. We will be offering a prize to a lucky number(s) to one of our new likes, so get your friends and family to like us and you can split the prize.

We look forward to seeing you and this time we will have:

-Homity Tartlets (enough not to run out!)
-Lime & Thyme Cake (Gluten Free)
-Chocolate Tart
-Treacle Tart
-and a special secret cake!

So no excuses and if you really can't ignore your resolution, the market is on Brixton Station Road, opposite the rec centre!
