Hometown: Great Bookham

I took Vegan Campaigns' Vegan Pledge in January 2010, having been vegetarian for 27 years. I created the VEG-GreaterLondon Yahoo! Group to give London veg*n groups a shared calendar, but have now moved to the excellent veg*n networking site Volentia.
Vegan diet and will try to avoid buying any new animal-based products.
VitaO's raw, vegan, gluten-free cheesecake :-)
VitaO, Soho | Indian Veg Bhelpoori House, Islington | Riverside Vegetaria, Kingston
What do you eat?!
Friendship and understanding.
If you're vegan then you can't NOT join this group ;-) Oh, and Volentia too ;-p
For sure, that sounds like a plan, and thanks for the best wishes on the business. Take care and we will talk soon. I will shoot you an email with my contact info.
all changed :)
hi Richard :) ah am bit sorry to hear we may not get to meet you, but absolutely no worries you can stay being a member (without the subs, cos i only ask for them after folks have attended a couple of meet ups anyway)....as long as you have the odd snoop at what we are doing so you can 'nick' some ideas mebbe heeheehee ;)
Thanks Richard will do that now :)
I just wanted to send you a quick message to announce my new meetup group - Health and wellbeing orientated, but with a business angle.
The group is for anyone interested in finding or starting a healthy business or for growing an existing business in the Health, Wellbeing and Fitness industry.
If you're a start up entrepreneur or are growing your existing business, please join us and network!
Hi Richard, yes no worries on the admin adjustment. I don't know about change to announcing. Looks a good idea how you've labelled your events, I may do that. cheers
I joined the Kent Volentia though tbh, TWells doesn't feel like Kent. We either go up to London or down to Brighton - never east! However, it might reach some people who don't know about us.
Re groups, we're on a half-price 6 month thing so cost isn't an issue atm. I'm considering starting another group anyway - a project for after Christmas - so may as well stick as we are for the time being.
Thanks again for your suggestions.
Thanks for all the tips - I've just been going through them. Not sure why people are on waiting lists. For one thing, when I looked through, nearly all the local people have already joined us and most of the rest were London-based in which case there's LVM.
