Introduction
I joined this meetup right at the start, and it's been great to see it grow so much year after year.
What's your state of veganness (i.e. how vegan are you)?
Enjoying the vegan journey since 2002 (having gone veggie about 16 years before that). Try to be as pure vegan as possible. I'd love to be even more pure by eating veganically grown food only! Looking forward to that becoming more widely available as awareness increases.
Favourite foods?
Have been quite obsessed with Eritrean for a while. Always love Indian. Enjoy experimenting with tasty raw options too, and these days seem to thrive on munching salad with just about everything, even beans on toast :)
Favourite London restaurants?
Mmm, so many! Rasa... 222... Vantra... Saf... Tibits... Manna... Inspiral for cakes! Lots of others too.
What is the most common or silliest thing people ask you about not eating meat?
The common ones we all know – ‘don’t plants have feelings too?’, etc (as if eating animals would be a solution to that!). The silliest thing is ‘wow, isn’t that really hard?’ Not that I mind, as then I can tell people it’s not hard at all, and help them to see that the best things in life are vegan!
What do you hope to get by coming to meetups?
Interludes in a happy bubble where everyone cares :)

Thanks for your message to me dated 17 March, which I've only just seen (sorry!), I don't know why but for some reason me and Richard weren't available to attend the Meetup, hope you all had a good time, and hope to see you at a future one. We did attend the Incredible Veggie show, not sure if you were there, if so, hope you enjoyed it. Hi Cathy, this is new! Looks a bit like a Facebook thing, not that I've joined that yet [but think I'm about to so look out everyone].
