I'm a web professional & creative. I became vegetarian in my early teens, then stopped, then started again, then started venturing towards veganism in December 2006. Finally got there in mid-late 2007.
It took me a while to make the switch from vegetarianism to veganism, but I'm a fully-fledged happy vegan now.
Pizza, potatoes, peppers. Er, I like things that don't begin with 'p' too... Actually, I like a variety of foods, I'm usually more creative than this. Honest! Actually, fave food is CAKE!
Mildreds & Vitaorganic, Soho. I like Food For Thought, Covent Garden too. InSpiral Lounge is my favourite for cake.
If you cut your finger, it bleeds and you lick it, does that mean you're not vegan any more? (Twice in one month!) Most common: 'How do you cope without eating bread?!' Most recent: Workmate who knows I'm vegan, "You do eat egg whites though, right?"
Opportunity to meet new people and make friends, plus yummy food!
"Incompetent Chef is a site where I write about cooking & suggest simple recipes for people (like myself) who aren't so great at cooking. It's fun. :) Check it out & leave me a comment!"
It is a great way to meet a welcoming, friendly group of people and discover new vegan-friendly eateries too.

Hi Kathleen
Am a member of this group too. I have taken their workshop and it rocks ! Sharing as I would share a good movie as well with a like minded person.
Are you interested in finding more on what the Art of Living group does? I went into www.artofliving

May be this interests you too. If it does- their next workshop is 29-31st of Jan 2010.
