What's your state of veganness (i.e. how vegan are you)?

Food-wise, completely. Otherwise pretty close to to completely though have kept non-vegan clothing items I owned previously and am not 100% convinced that it would be better to buy brand new shoes made of plastic than save someone's leather hand-me-downs from the bin. But hey ho!

Favourite foods?

Pasta, engevita and Braggs on anything and everything, tahini, dolmades, Cookies and Scream anything, tempeh, summer rolls...FOOOOD!!

Favourite London restaurants?

Tokyo Diner, My Village Cafe, 222, Pain Quotidien (a chain but...so yum!). Also, not a restaurant but I really heart Earth Natural Foods in Kentish Town.

What is the most common or silliest thing people ask you about not eating meat?

Aren't you missing out on loads of nutrients? What if (cue story about the happiest chickens in the known world), what's wrong with eating those eggs? Don't you find cooking hard/expensive?

What do you hope to get by coming to meetups?

Meet new people, try new food, get tips and inspiration. Not have to explain myself at a meal ;)

Introduction

I'm a library cataloguer who mainly digs re-watching tv shows from my teens (Buffy! Dawson's Creek!), carefully maintaining to-do lists that will be ignored, walking around London and putting nooch on everything. I've been vegan since 2011
