With me it happened naturally without i even became aware of it, without following rules or meeting vegan people. Let me explain, since a child i never had interest in meet or fish, when i started to live on my own, i stopped buying it, and slowly slowly, i started to feel that i was nurturing my body by eating mainly veg and fruit, so i started to avoid eggs and cheese milk and so on, and today i am happy like this.
nuts, porridge, seeds, tahini, handmade nuts milk, coconut.... all of them actually :)
I never tried one, cause i don t have any vegan or vegetarian friends.
the most common thing i is people don t know how many other options u have apart from salad. the second is "You shouldn t avoid it, cause u do a lot of sport".the most annoying is some of them think i do it because i want to lose weight!!! that s the silliest thing.
I feel i need to meet people like me, i have no friends to share this "vegan thing" with.
I m Marilena and i ve been in London for a bit more than one year, i m Italian. at the moment i am working in a cafe but my passions are sports, walking in the nature, graphic design and off course learning more and more about food.
