Introduction

Hi everyone :) I am a 50 something lady who is looking to meet some new vegan/vegetarian friends - I have been vegetarian since I was seven and vegan since February of this year (why it took so long I have no idea!!)

What's your state of veganness (i.e. how vegan are you)?

Very vegan - but learning all the time given that I am a newbie to veganism - I have not worn leather for many many years for example but am amazed at what I am learning about the food I eat!!

Favourite foods?

Cauliflower and almond madras - my favourite home cooked meal - and Moroccan Couscous (got both recipes from vegan website - absolutely delicious :)

Favourite London restaurants?

Indian Mischief and 222

What is the most common or silliest thing people ask you about not eating meat?

Simple - but what do you eat? - mmmm - food?

What do you hope to get by coming to meetups?

To meet like minded people

Hi Lizzie, as I mentioned in the email to you, we have a general no refund policy. However if another member is interested in the ticket and pays for it I can refund you minus the paypal fees. Alternatively you can arrange to transfer to ticket to another member, and sort the money out between you.

Welcome fellow Aspirational. Welcome to the group Lizzie. I have been toying with the idea of forming this group for some time and decided recently to JUST DO IT !
