Fully vegan since 1991.
Oh, everything! Peas. Fruit, all fruit, love it. Home-made bread with sundried tomatoes, olives and herbs. French bread. Tofu. Chocolate. (Especially chocolate sorbet, yum.) Cake! (Best cakes: http://www.lujuriavegana.com/ or http://www.vegantreats.com/ - I also make my own.) Seitan. Not a huge fan of mock meats but appreciate their value for drawing in non-vegans. Baked beans. Hummus. Every vegetable. Vegan ice-cream. Bagels. Peanut chews. Curry. Pasta. Chinese food. Dammit, I could eat all day!
Rani. Chutneys. Manna. Peking Palace. Tibits. Gallery Café. 222 Veggie Vegan. Still haven't made it to Ms. Cupcake's shop which is crazy, but I check out her cakes at vegan festivals (very good although perhaps a bit too much icing for my taste). Vx isn't a restaurant but still a great place to get munchies! I probably forgot some. London rules!
"So what do you eat?" "Where do you get your protein from?" At school, someone once told me that I would die without meat. (My reply: "Damn." (Then feigned my own death. Then got back up.)) Plus blaming every common cold or any other ailment I've ever had on being vegan.
Some vegan friends. I work long hours so probably won't come to many meetups (alas!), but it would be nice to meet some other people who fully understand the many joys (and occasional frustrations) of vegan life.
I've been a Londoner always, vegetarian since 1986 and vegan since 1991.
