So glad I found this group - it's been awesome so far :)
I am now vegan since August '12!! :D I don't eat any thing that has animal in it, yes, also not honey - I don't buy clothes anymore that are made of leather, wool, fur, feathers etc.
Vegan hotdogs!!! LOVE pasta with hot tomatosauce (Arrabiata!) - sesame bars, anything with sesame... crisps... Houmus with celery and or carrots.. vegan sushi... Fake "chicken" nuggets from Holland and Barrett.. Salad.. To be continued.... rocher style cake from ms cupcake!
Pogo Cafe (pizza nights), Bonnington Cafe, Hotdogs from Shambu's, want to go to loving hut very soon!
When ppl say that they could never be vegan, that they need 'their' meat - its so disappointing when ppl seem to feel they have make their point straight away instead of being openminded. I know it is them being defensive. But sometimes its just disheartening but also tiring how eagerly ppl are shutting down because they don't want to know anything about the violence that is being carried out on their behalf.
To meet likeminded people who are feeling compassionate about animal rights (as well as human rights) and can't accept the place that animals are put into by human society to fulfil their every and any needs.. And obviously also embrace the enjoyment of vegan life, food and places in London :)
Hi Kiki - look forward to seeing you soon :)
