Vegan cook, writer, etc.
I'm overwhelmingly vegan, but not strictly so. I eat honey, and occasionally sample tiny bits of particlarly interesting cheeses.
Aubergines are pretty much the best vegetable. Garlic is great. I cook a lot of Indian food, and a fair amount of Chinese-influenced stuff.
My local Thai place, Charuwan, is pretty good. I have a fondness for that chain of cheap Thai/Chinese vegan restaurants.

Maybe share some recipes, meet some interesting people. That sort of thing.

Nice meeting you too. The second you went to the bar I got collared by Susannah and accused of looking lonely, next thing I knew we were talking about baroque architecture. But I hope we're predestined to continue our conversation at some point, not that either of us appears entirely certain what it was about.
