I'm a moderately strict vegan- I don't mind eating food made in an environment shared with meat, eggs or cheese though I do not eat any of animal products myself. I am a vegan for ethical reasons and personal taste preference- vegans do it better!!
I am a dark chocolate addict! I also put balsamic vinegar on most anything. I love peanut butter and would say that soba noodles with stir fried veggies and marinated tempeh or tofu in peanut sauce is my all time favorite dish. I also love homemade pizza and I generally go for asian (japanese, chinese, thai, vietnamese) when I eat out. I make a lot of monster salads for lunch and dinner during the week.
I've enjoyed meals at Giraffe, Mildreds, Ottolenghi and Pho Cafe since I've been here. There are many more I'd like to try but have difficulty dragging my omni friends and family to go with me!
WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR PROTEIN? (Honestly....) WHAT DO YOU USE INSTEAD OF EGGS (When I bake cookies... Um... nothing- they're not necessary) DOESN'T SOY MILK GIVE YOU CANCER?
I hope to try new vegan dishes and explore the vegan eateries London has to offer that I otherwise wouldn't experience. I also hope to meet some like-minded friends to swap recipes and go out for vegan meals and potlucks with! xx
