Hi,
A long term omnivore friend is asking for suggestions of a book to read. Does anyone know of a book that is likely to make her think about being more compassionate towards animal rights or to make her think of veganising in such a way that it's not totally hardhitting? I'd rather do it gently you see, if the book says meat is murder she is likley to politley put the book aside and say maybe another time. She has a child too so maybe if there's something about a child that could be good to. Thanks Amrit |

Amrit, I don't remember very much how the book World Peace Diet was written but I think it was very philosophycal so maybe it wasn't to harsh???

A couple of books come to mind:
Eating Animals by Jonathan Safran Foer. This book only came out a year or two ago and was very well received. Animal Liberation - by Peter Singer. The highly influential animal right book. Hope this helps Brian |
