The London Short Story Festival

Reduced tickets for two fantastic events at The London Short Story Festival.

Great news! I've persuaded the folks at Spread the Word, the organisation behind this inaugural event, to give members of LWC reduced entry (30% off) to two events at the festival. You're most welcome. Promises to be an exhilarating weekend for fans of the shorter form.

See the website: and read the full program of free events, workshops and ticketed sessions:

DISCOUNTED EVENTS for LWC members at the festival -

Creating a Collection: All the info you need on how to put together your own short story collection. Spend an insightful and inspirational hour with Booker-shortlisted Alison Moore, Sunday Times Award-shortlisted Tom Lee and London Book Award winner Stuart Evers, and discover how these published writers moved from writing a short story, to creating a collection, getting it published and what happens next. Sunday, June 22, 1-2pm, £6.

Young Guns and Hot Shots: What happens when you've been singled out as a rising star of short stories? Journalist, critic and short story writer Anita Sethi will lead a discussion on how it feels to make a splash on the short story scene, and of course, how to get there. Ssaturday, June 22, 5-6pm £6.

Plus, enjoy a series of FREE creative writing workshops taking place in the Writers' Space on Saturday, June 21, from 11-5.

Please book your tickets direct with Spread the Word.
