London Writers' Cafe will welcome literary consultant and publicist Richard Foreman for a talk on promotion, publicity and getting your writing noticed for the right reasons.

A former bookseller, founder of Chalke Authors, and now publisher of eBooks at Endeavour Press (which is actively seeking new talent and submissions), Richard is something of an industry maverick and this talk promises to be a useful for those of you who want extra help with marketing/publicity of your work.

For any queries or questions, please email us.

Costs: £10 per person

Location: The Shooting Star. A pub that is less than 5 mins walk from Liverpool Street station, on the central Line.

Take the Bishopsgate exit from the main rail concourse, cross the road, turn left at Dirty Dicks pub onto Middlesex Street. The pub is about 100 metres down on the right-hand side, past Nandos, and we meet in the function room downstairs.

A great and entertaining talk, from a guy who really knows how publishing has changed in a year.

    Hi Lisa and co

Sorry I can't attend after all. Pity as this looks really good. Not sure whether there will be a refund (if so, please let me know), but am freeing up my space anyway so that someone else can take it. Have a great evening. Rosemary

    Hi Lisa
Richard Foreman sounds very interesting but I imagine talk is aimed at writers with already published books - right? Also my recently completed book is for children in 8-10 age group. Be glad to hear what you think. Best wishes, Barbara

This talk is for writers, not published authors (our group deals in writers who aren't yet published on the whole) so should be perfect for your project. Best, Lisa

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
