Ever wondered what makes a great literary evening out? *whispers* come closer and I'll tell you....
Open Pen Magazine and the London Writers' Cafe are teaming up to present a night of live reading, spoken word and literary comedy, hosted by Londonist Out Loud's N. Quentin Woolf at The Shooting Star. This event highlights stories, plays and poems published in recent issue of Open Pen magazine (Issue 7 available from early November).
It's the must night out of the winter for a London lit fan, and boasts a huge range of writers from Open Pen's ever-growing roster, and members of the London Writers' Cafe, making it the place to be if you want a glimpse of the most exciting and gifted aspiring writers from London's adroit unberbelly.
After six years of LWC, I'm delighted to be hosting our first ever night of live story performance and I'd love to see some of you there! This event is open to everyone so friends, family members, a first date, spouses and co-workers all warmly welcomed. Here's the event listing on Facebook if you'd prefer to RSVP that way.
Any queries of questions, please get in touch and I'll do my best to answer.
Tickets: £10 or £8 for students (NUS card required on entry).
