Super agent Madeleine Milburn, of the Madeleine Milburn Literary Agency, will be coming to advise on how to 'hook' an agent. Whoop! Madeleine spoke at LWC last year and had us all buzzing for months with her wisdom and positivity. I'm delighted that she's agreed to come back for a second round.
In this talk, Madeleine will explain all aspects of how to query an agent (in the UK). From crafting the right covering letter for your work, composing an attention-grabbing synopsis, formatting your chapters and more. It promises to be a hugely informative, salient and encouraging evening.
Come prepared with questions too as we'll have the usual Q&A session so you can ask her anything about the submission process, agenting or publishing. Please read Madeleine's submission guidelines so you're familiar with the type of authors she represents.
Writers of all stages, abilities and forms are welcome to join this talk as Madeleine's advice is invaluable for all writers, not just those with nearly completed manuscripts.
