Hello and welcome. Are you a creative writer? Do you live or work in London? Are you looking for a community of like-minded individuals? Congratulations. You've found it.
We're fiction writers' group (and very lively community) where writers volunteer to read their work and get instant feedback in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
We welcome all FICTION writers seeking feedback, advice and encouragement on their writing projects. Our group is composed of writers tinkering away on short stories, novels, poems, plays or scripts. However, we cannot do feedback on any form of non-fiction (sorry) so please don't ask to join as we will kindly refuse.
Meetings give anyone the chance to read their work aloud for constructive feedback, advice and discussion. And in 2013, we'll host two critique meetings a month, along with regular special guest talks and social evenings to meet growing demand from our lively community. For what's coming soon, please see our calendar of upcoming events.
It's completely free to join (and always will be) but we do charge to attend meetings and special events. However, any money earned is only used to cover speakers' expenses, group development, marketing, website and administration costs.
Any further questions? Please get in touch via email, read How it Works or what others have to say in our latest reviews.
We hope to meet you soon and happy writing!
Lisa, David & Michelle
Have something you'd like to share or promote to our group? Please make a (brief) post about it on our Facebook page or tweet it to us via @ldnwriterscafe or email and we'll reply as soon as possible.
