I am a full-time freelance writer. I write columns, articles, features and marketing materials. I have written ten business books focused on business, IT and professional services. All my work is commissioned and published, but it is not truly creative. If you google my name, you will find my work. I am not the novelist or the poet - yet. I'd like to join LWC because it is my ambition to move into creative writing - as well, not instead of the writing I do already. So far I have written three short films, which have been made and screened. I am now thinking about writing a play - I have a few ideas, but I now need to get them down.
I have ideas for a possible play, where I have a theme and a few lines that seem to make people laugh, but I haven't really started on it yet. I have written some random thoughts but not really got them together. I'm looking at meetings to motivate me to turn my ideas into finished pieces that I can get published. I realise that this will take a lot of work as I write for publications every week. Also just to find out more about the creative side of the publishing business and be inspired by and inspire others.
