I am a 28 year-old American who moved to London a year ago from Shanghai where I owned China's first burlesque nightclub. I have recently completed my first book, a memoir, called 'Diary of a Shanghai Showgirl' and am signed with a literary agent.
I often feel like I get stuck in my head and my closest must be sick of me talking about my book by now, so I would love to meet similar minded people and benefit from the support of a group.
I'm hoping it is a group that offers encouragement as well as critical feedback. Ideally, I would like to meet several individuals who I can trust as colleagues to run things by, and it would be good for me to hear work from others more advanced in the craft, as I feel it will inspire me. I can only get better! :)
I searched the internet for London writer's circles. I have been craving getting involved with something socially, as I am still relatively new here and spent the better part of last year alone and writing, so I think a writer's circle will quench several of my needs.

I really liked how different all the writing was and speaking with other writers after. I found it helpful and encouraging, and I can't wait until the next one!
I just wanted to send you a quick message to announce my new meetup group - Health and wellbeing orientated, but with a business angle.
The group is for anyone interested in finding or starting a healthy business or for growing an existing business in the Health, Wellbeing and Fitness industry.
If you're a start up entrepreneur or are growing your existing business, please join us and network!
I see that you are attending the All Agency event tomorrow and thought I would get in touch as there looks to some cross over between our two companies. Ciklum is a Danish owned, Agile, Software Development house based out of Ukraine. We work with companies to help facilitate their Own Development teams as well work on shorter specified engagements through our Project Office. I would be keen to catch up before or during the event so you are aware of Ciklum’s services going forward.
Thanks for your note, Amelia. Glad to hear there's another ex-New Yorker in the group! Looking forward to meeting you at some point. Congratulations on your book deal! Tanya
