Introduction

My nickname is Jay and I live on the London/Kent border. I work in Theatreland in the West End. I have been writing since 2003 when, finding myself with nothing to read, I jotted down a few notes. The next thing I knew, I had a novel on my hands.

Please tell us a bit about your fiction writing projects or why you would like to join us.

I completed the fourth and hopefully final edit of the novel after using it as a doorstop for several years whilst raising a family. I have also completed a short story which is posted on YouWriteOn. I am currently working on my second novel which is a paranormal romance. I have no training and have only attended a couple of 1-day workshops. I don't know any other writers and would like to learn the craft of storytelling with and from like minded people to enjoy the written word and generally have fun.

What are you expecting from this group and what kind of writing support are you looking for?

I would like to recieve constructive critisism, observations and suggestions from a variety of individuals who are long on patience and have a good sense of humour.

Do you have a blog or website for your writing?

No- under construction
