Mr Edison's Aether Propeller has opened up the inner Solar System to settlers, commerce, entrepreneurs and adventurers. Mars, Venus and Mercury all have known the tread of human feet and the benefit of Benevolent British Rule.

Space 1889:Red Sands is a campaign that ranges over the whole of inhabited space, from the steamy jungles of Venus to the eponymous Red Sands of Mars, the Bazaars of Egypt and the Streets of London.
Players take the part of characters in various walks of life but all united in their membership of the Explorer's Society as they struggle to overcome an insidious menace over the course of numerous adventures.
The game uses a variant of the popular and very easy-to-learn Savage Worlds system. The rules changes for Red Sands are minor and have to do with tuning the setting to that of a Victorian Steampunk milieu.
No prior experience is necessary to play. Everything needed to enjoy the game will be provided, though people may of course bring their own characters if they wish, which should be Novice level with no prior experience.
