[LR] Call of Cthulhu: Delta Green

Delta Green is Call of Cthulhu set in the 90s. Players take the part of members of a secret conspiracy that Fights Cosmic Evil and stuff. Cultists, Thinges Thatte Shoulde Notte Bee, powerful government people covering up, the usual suspects.

This is an open casting call session for players aged 18 years and above.

If you would like to try out Delta Green/D20, please do come along and join the fun. We have room for as many as five new players (this game can accommodate large numbers around the table as long as they work as a team).

The D20 used is not very much different to that used for years in D&D 3.5, though it has been tweaked a bit so as to give the players a little more say in what a character looks like. D20 is particularly well suited to my vision of a Delta Green game with a more Action/Adventure "feel" than trad Call of Cthulhu.

In this version, not only can the Cultists shoot at you, you can shoot back. With machine guns. There's nothing more satisfying than escaping the clutches of fifty raving lunatics in robes by use of superior tactics and rate of fire, even if half the investigators are dead and half the ones left are mad. Think "X-Files".

It is still a bad idea to try machine-gunning Something That Should Not Be, and going hand to hand against the dread Fish-Frog Men that infest parts of Louisiana always ends quickly and never ends well for the agent.

Please RSVP if you'd like to try out the game.

Because of the content of the game there is a strict 18+ policy.

Will we make quorum on this one? who can say?

The group are crossing swords with some very dangerous people right now. Bizarre "messengers" who use trash as a medium (McLuhan had no idea what he was talking about). Biker gangsters who pay their taxes. Philandering husbands. And a very nasty corpse has turned up.

What next? How will N Cell handle this melange of mendacity?

I predict it will all end it tears. The question is: whose?

The fact that my GM notes are dissolving because of all my tears of abandonment by everyone will have no effect on the amount of horror or physical damage your characters will face if and when you finally do show up.

    Sob sob heart-rending sob.

Will there be an innocent answer to all that has been puzzling the team for the last two sessions, or will the ominous hints and snippets they've gathered lead them once more to Ye Liveliest Awefulnesse and a month or two in the Bide-a-Wee Rest Home For Mythos-Blasted Psyches And The Drug-Addled, Pain-Wasted Bodies That House Them?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
