Both very good talks on interesting Long Now-ish subjects.

Thanks to Laura and David for joining us in Chicago, and to Bryan and team for making this happen. The meetup was both meaningful and inspiring.

Very interesting to hear about these projects. Food for thought on combining public interaction with academic projects through social media, mobile displays and long term sites (10,000 year clock). Both Global Lives and the Rosetta Project have interesting ways of utilizing crowd sourcing to accomplish their goals with less initial funding needed and they also both seem to be using cross disciplinary interaction in an effective way to further their success.

Thanks for putting together a great event Bryan! May your meetup group live long and prosper!
