Following on from the discussion on the message board, seems like there's lots of demand for more regular meetups.

We don't have a speaker for this event so it will be an open discussion but thought it might be an idea to pick the theme from a recent Long Now Seminar in San Francisco - Richard Rhode's thinking about the place of nuclear weapons in long term thinking. Here's a link to Richard's talk:
