Wildwood Park is a gem to be explored. To the north, the imposing presense of Mount Clef Ridge humbles us. On the south, Arroyo Conejo has carved out a V-shaped canyon over millions of years. An endless span of grassland lies in-between. One could easily picture a stagecoach running by.
Paradise Falls is at the bottom of the canyon. It drops 40 feet into a large pool along the Arroyo Conejo. Lizard Rock stands solitary on the western end. It is the distant landmark that calls out to hikers.
We plan to explore the entire park via Mesa, Santa Rosa, Stagecoach, Lizard Rock, Eagle Point, Wildwood, Tepee and Moonridge trail. In this hike, we will explore every trail in the park.
