Volunteers needed for the 10/20/12 Getty Center event

A former member
Hi Everyone,

Due to the large # of particpants for the 10/20/12 event at the Getty Center, I am seeking 3 assistants in the following areas: 1. Potluck coordinator, 2. European painting exhibit lead, 3. Garden Tour lead. Please email me if you are interested.

Potluck coordinator is to make sure participants bring sufficient food and drink and to secure tables at the museum courtyard for set up.

European pating exhibit lead is to lead a group of participants to Getty's collection of impressionist and europen paintings exhibit. If you are capable, share your knowledge about these paintings with the rest of the group. If not, arrange with Getty to have a guided tour for our group.

Garden tour lead is to lead a group of participants to the Central Garden. If you are capable, share your knowledge about the garden with the group. If not, arrange with Getty to have a guided tour for our group.

Scott Hathaway will be the lead for the Ray K. Metzker exhibit.

Contributions from volunteers are what make each and every event fun and memorable.  Your contributions are needed and will be appreciated by everyone.

Sincerely,

Mike Cheng

Couple of questions ... 1)Do volunteers get to participate in the potluck and/or dancing? 2)Is the "Central Garden" only the round part at the end or does it include any of the walkway/water works on the way?

Question 1: Of course

Question 2: The Central Garden is the round area plus the walkway.
