Opera in the Park, now in its 15th season, is the premiere cultural event in the Coachella Valley and is attended by music lovers from all over the U.S. and Canada. Music Director Mona Lands and Maestro Valery Ryvkin will again create and present this exciting sampling of the world’s greatest arias. Special features will include a tribute to Jacques Offenbach and performances of “Opera’s Greatest Hits”. The singers this year will be soprano Anush Avetisyan, baritone David Castillo, mezzo-soprano Lauren Edwards, soprano Alannah Garnier, tenor Joshua Guerrero, soprano Marina Harris, baritone Jure Počkaj and renowned tenor Rodell Rosel. Both Anush and Rodell are Vocal Competition first place winners. This free concert takes place in downtown Palm Springs at Sunrise Park.
