Join the sexy singles of LAFC for Happy Hour at the historic, retro chic Culver Hotel, the perfect destination for active professionals. Q-Bet Quartet, known for their modern interpretations of jazz, latin, R&B and funk classics, will be performing.
In his review of the quartet Jonathan Weiss wrote: "Led by burning alto saxophonist Mark Einhorn, the Q-Bet Quartet plays jazz standards that breathes new life into songs that jazz fans have heard many of times before. The quartet played a dynamic version of Miles Davis' modal standard, "So What", with Einhorn leading the way with nimble fingering and a clean, expressive sound out of his alto, while Ryan Mahlstedt and Chris Parise on bass and drums respectively, held down a steady, locked in-groove."
Happy Hour ends at 7 pm, so don't be late. Wine is $4 and beer is $3. There is a variety of appetizers for $5 including Asian infused wings, fish tacos and garlic fries. For the menu click here.
