  • This location is shown only to members

LAFC sexy singles aged 21-49 will be joining Los Angeles Single Professionals & Friends for a night of jazz and socializing featuring The Richard Glaser Band. The Charleston is the perfect destination for active, professional singles. Whether you are new to Los Angeles or been here a while, you will make new friends as well as see familiar faces. You will be personally greeted and introduced to the members. Arrive early so you can socialize and enjoy Happy Hour.

Comprised of pianist/songwriter Richard Glaser, drummer Mark San Filippo and bassist Geoff Rakness, the Tuesday night resident band at Angel's Piano Bar, performs a fine blend of straight-ahead jazz, intimate ballads, fresh improvisations and swelling, blues-tinged arrangements crafted by music virtuoso and front man Richard Glaser. Joined by legendary tenor man Clarence Webb and guest vocalists weekly, the band has added a lyrical component to its singular approach to jazz that is creating instant song classics out of finely tuned compositions.

The Charleston is a gastro-lounge featuring live entertainment and Chef Jet Tila’s take on American comfort food expressed in a menu of shared plates and is set in a lounge-style space with distinct 1930’s décor.

I agree with the comments regarding age. Perhaps a sexy senior could spearhead a similar event for the 45 and up crowd. This sounds super fun.

Just curious on how this event became a 21-49 age range especially with this style of music being for all ages. I'm sure there is a reason but curiosity is getting the best of me.

I LOVE the Richard Glaeser Band and know the drummer. I'm going to be flying back from Kansas that evening. I may try to stop by after.
