The Santa Monica Symphony performs Borodin's Polovestian Dances from the opera Prince Igor and other selections. The Los Angeles Philharmonic's Guido Lamell will conduct. After the concert we're having one of our famous Meet & Greets at the Viceroy Hotel, a short walk from the auditorium. It's ok to come by yourself--you won't be by yourself for long.
The Santa Monica Symphony has been a major cultural asset for the Westside community since its debut in 1945 that attracts music lovers from all parts of the greater Los Angeles area. Its repertoire of classical and contemporary music provides well-rounded programs of wide appeal. LAFC member Geoffrey Maingart is a violinist with the orchestra.
