Sounds of L.A. returns with local favorites Ricardo Lemvo and Makina Loca, who never fail to delight with their signature mix of Afro-Cuban rhythms, Angolan semba, and Congolese soukous. Shake off the winter blues at this high-octane concert featuring new music from their latest release.
A tastemaker and provocateur, Robert Mapplethorpe was one of the great photographers of the second half of the twentieth century. His highly stylized explorations of gender, race, and sexuality became hallmarks of the period and exerted a powerful influence on his contemporaries.

According to the Getty, there may be a Standby Line. Occasionally someone will fail to show up for their reservation. These tickets are then distributed to those waiting in the Standby Line beginning at 6:45. Here is the sequence:
5:00 Go to check-in table to obtain a number. You can then join us for dinner or go view the galeries.
6:45 Return to the check-in table and pickup tickets, hopefully

This event will sell out--do not delay. This event has sold out. Our members may have extra tickets. If you need need tickets post a request below. Ticket distribution for those needing tickets will commence 1/11/13 and will be distributed based on the date you rsvped. We'll try to accomodate as many members as we can. Limited seating may be available in the Standby Line.
