The La Mirada Symphony under the baton of Dr. Robert Frelly performs some of the world's most beloved dance works from the classical repertoire. You will be whisked away to Andulasa, Spain, by Manuel de Falla's Three-Cornered Hat. Johann Staruss' Emperor Waltz will place you in the time of Imperial Austria in the years before the Great War. Also on the program are selections by Dvorchak, Brahms and others. Celebration of Dance has something for everyone: romance, intrigue, passion.
